Growing up on the west coast, I developed an early appreciation for adventure and exploration. But my passion for both really took off after I moved to Maui, following my time at the University of Oregon. I quickly immersed myself in all things ocean-related, exploring both above and below the surface using any means I could find. My experience as a scuba instructor propelled me into the maritime world, where I felt most at home. It wasn’t long before I found myself in the captain's chair, seeking adventure wherever I could.

I didn't want to be confined to a small island chain in the Pacific, so I eventually joined an expedition travel company. This role allowed me to experience adventure on a level I never thought possible, taking me to every continent and ocean in the world’s most remote regions. Eventually, I craved a different kind of adventure and settled in Bend, trading the ocean for the mountains to enjoy the activities I had been missing.

Years of maintaining boats gave me the skills to transition into the van world, where I found a new passion in building out vans to help others find their own sense of adventure. When I'm not in the shop, you can find me snowboarding or skate-skiing in the winter, and mountain biking, paddling, or attempting to wing-foil in the summer. I now live in Tumalo with my partner Darcy, her two children, and our many furry friends.
