HOW WE ADVENTURE

Founded by Ed Carter and Kyle Setzer in the summer of 2021, How We Adventure is a Bend, Oregon based design + build company obsessed with creating one of a kind conversions of Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit vans. From their first van adventure on the South Island of New Zealand, to building their own van during the COVID lockdowns of 2020, a business was born.

A partnership leveraging diverse professional backgrounds brings a unique perspective to building custom vans. Ed Carter’s 20+ years leading immersive store design and experiences for iconic brands like Nike, West Elm and Burberry is perfectly complimented by Kyle’s engineering mindset from years of experience in manufacturing innovation, global sourcing and digital commerce at Nike and other brands.

The How We Adventure team has grown to include experts with equally unique backgrounds. Woodworking, electrical, CNC fabrication, CAD, metal fabrication, custom upholstery, soft goods design, and expert installation are services have access to in-house with our team.
