DESIGN
Custom floor plans, systems and accessories.
Adventure begins at our initial meeting. We get to know you and plans you have for your van. From there we get to work designing the most efficient and functional floorplan to maximize space and features. From sleeping quarters to workspaces, galley design and systems, having a dialed multi-functional space is critical to enjoying your adventure van. We won’t compromise on durability, functionality, or premium materials—all critical parts of our bespoke builds. Finally, we provide detailed estimates to facilitate final budget decisions before the build begins.
From render to reality—we visualize your build starting with 2D sketches and progress to 3D renders to ensure every detail is dialed. We also offer a high-fidelity render option with all accessories and materials shown, giving you ultimate piece of mind in the final design of your adventure van.
BUILD
We obsess details, materials, and innovation.
Once design is locked and materials selected we take deposits to begin your build. We’ll send frequent updates and engage with you throughout the process. We’ll schedule delivery of your van approx. 2-3 weeks out from the big day. If you’re flying into Bend, we even offer airport pickup.
Materials matter. So does smart innovation and approach to a build. The proper electrical, heating and plumbing systems are critical to enjoying time in and out of the van. We are ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) certified to design + build the necessary power system, using premium Victron components, lithium-ion batteries, inverters and controllers. Wiring and plumbing components are marine grade and extensively tested. You won’t find assembly line RV parts in our builds.

Often depends on level of customization desired. Most of our builds take approx 10-12 weeks from start to finish.

Depends on features you can’t live without! Robust builds start at 90k. With most ending in the 100-125k range (not including the price of the van).

Not at this time. We occasionally have a finished spec van available for purchase. For your custom build, you’ll source the van and deliver it to us.

We have limits. We won’t design unsafe builds. We use our foundational expertise for electrical systems, ideal layouts and accessories, while offering you the chance to customize these to suit your adventure needs. We’re not afraid of a design challenge.

Every custom van gets a full delivery experience with the team at HWA lasting as long as you need to feel comfortable. Typically 3-4hrs. ensuring you’re 100% ready to hit the road to adventure.

We stand by our work. Every custom build receives a 12 month warranty. You van manufacturer warranty applies as does all vendor product warranties.
ADVENTURE
WE’LL GET YOU OUT THERE!
We know you want to get out on the road—especially once you’ve made design decisions and put deposits down. We keep our capacity limited to deliver builds in a reasonable timeframe—currently 10-12 weeks on average. Our Upfitting shop is staffed to allow for a la carte services on a more flexible calendar.
WE STAND BY OUR WORK
Our work doesn’t stop once you drive away. We offer a 12-month guarantee on our craftsmanship*. There’s bound to be a bolt to tighten or a rattle to troubleshoot after you’ve been adventuring. Knowing you can count on us to back the work we perform is key. We’re a small team and always available to answer questions or work with you on future modifications and accessories.
*Your vehicle manufacturers warranty is subject to their terms of agreement as are most 3rd party products we install in the van. We review all warranty details for products we source for your build.
